Expertise 03 / Public Purpose

Enterprise as a route to agency, dignity and durable opportunity.

Jenovive's public-purpose work centres on entrepreneurship, capability development and practical pathways for women, young people and communities.

The proposition

Opportunity becomes meaningful when people acquire the capability, confidence and institutional support to direct their own economic future.

01 · The conviction

Move beyond access towards agency

Her advocacy places enterprise and capability at the centre of social development. The intention is not a temporary intervention, but the practical knowledge and support from which income, leadership and resilience can grow.

02 · The programme

Women and young people as economic protagonists

GhanaWeb reported plans by Dream West Africa for a Ghana pilot focused on entrepreneurship and digital capability for women and girls, with an ambition to extend the model across West Africa.

The published programme areas included technology, graphic design and coding alongside entrepreneurship development, skills intended to widen access to contemporary economic participation.

03 · The partnership

Build around the community and the work

Credible partnerships begin with a defined population, geography, delivery model and standard of accountability. Organisations are invited to bring those particulars, not simply a broad expression of interest.

In practice

  • Entrepreneurship development
  • Women's economic agency
  • Youth capability development
  • Digital and practical skills
  • Community-centred partnership design
